President’s corner
Greetings fellow National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) members. What an honor and privilege to be a part of such an excellent honor society. Every one of my fellow NSLS members has achieved a great accomplishment being inducted into NSLS. You have become a leader. An influential person amongst your colleagues, peers, friends, and family. Take a moment to reflect and think about this great mark you have made within your respective academic community, neighborhood, and society. A great philosopher once said, “If it was easy, everyone would do it”-Unknown. This quote resonates with me through what I call the journey of life. When times are tough, and I feel like I want to stop, I think of this quote. As a leader you will be viewed a little different now. You will have just a little more scrutiny, from our fellow NSLS society, neighborhood, and community members observing every action, ethic, and decision making you perform. While some people shy away from such a challenge and/or position, you have chosen not to do that. You have stepped up and took the role to lead our society, neighborhood, and community in this 21st Century. While there will be some trials and tribulations along the way, remember you are built for it. You have been graced with the knowledge, courage, and wisdom to fight through those turbulent times, with honor, character, and respect. As we continue our leadership and academic journey with NSLS representing the great University of Phoenix (UoPX), remember you are not alone. You have brothers and sisters within our society who are proud of you, and honored to serve as fellow leaders in the 21st Century.
Sincerely,
Timothy James
